Shortly after the outbreak began, the world was alerted with an emergency transmission and a quarantine was attempted by the CDF, Russia, NATO and hired professionals. The quarantine failed after 22 hours and all surviving units retreated to protect the capital region except for the Russians who have a long border with Chernarus to the north.<br />You are one of the few survivors left in South Zagoria, the ground zero of the outbreak, and have been waiting for a passing ship or other form of help on the eastern shore in vain. Just a moment ago, you picked up a plea for help over the radio requesting assistance at the Olsha hill radio tower. You must go northwest and investigate.<br /><br />Chernarus Apocalypse - Part Two<br />Six days ago, you left your camping spot on the eastern shore and ended up being contacted by Nikita, the leader of a survivor group. Nikita gave you shelter and food, but you had to denounce personal ownership of your weapons, adding to the arsenal for all to use.<br />A little over an hour ago, the main bulk of the survivors went to explore Berezino for a means to escape. A USMC squad pushes into a mountainous killzone.<br /><br />Takistan Force Co-20<br />From a collection of different missions the server randomly picks one mission at a time, let it take place at a randomly chosen location on the map of <br /><br />Takistan.<br />Every player is his/her own squad leader, being able to recruit AI squad members of all types (like in Warfare, ithout the money).There are different slots <br /><br />to fill by players, each with its own responsibilities:<br />-Common Infantry<br />-Crewmen<br />-Pilots<br />-Sniper<br />There are 10 different missions at the moment, like clearing a town, capturing high value assets, hostages, searching ammo caches, escorting a convoy to a solitary outpost etc. - a mission parameter can be set to the maximum number of missions the team has to accomplish or can fail, respectively.<br />A mission generally can fail, when the overall team's deathcount exceeds a certain value during a mission, so "not to die is vital".<br /><br />Limited Assets - Isla Duala<br />Description:<br />With over a year of nearly continuous development and testing, starting in Arma, moving to Arma2 (with CAA1 mod for Sahrani) and now ported to Isla Duala in <br /><br />A2 and A2OA Combined Ops, this map has matured greatly since the original version. Nimitz Aircraft Carrier by "Jdog". You begin in a blackhawk, you will be drop (in fast rope) in a street. You must find a Warlord (he has a gold AK) who is hiding in the orange area.<br /><br />Campaigns<br /><br />Chasing Grim Reaper<br />A former scientist employed by the former Takistan Defense, appears to US outpost in quiet small village Sakhe near a mountain pass, requesting for immediate help. A small journal is about to turn the whole country into deadly chaos.<br /><br />Operation Gothic Serpent<br />2004. Fallujah has been retaken by the Marines during the operation Phantom Fury.<br />2005. Viper55, which is attached to the same brigade, has landed there for emergency refueling. The enemy garrison in Zargabad is unable to launch any significant counter attacks, since most of the enemy's 201st infantry division is thinly stretched across the south to protect major supply lines running between Zargabad and Takistan. Air reconnaissance suggests that more than half of the enemy's 201st Infantry Division has been pulled back into Takistan to join the ongoing fighting there. Intel on the ground suggests that the enemy has a major lack of anti-air defense systems. However, recent information from a high level informant has revealed that the Zargabad garrison has just received additional weapon and munitions shipments. The informant will be sending us specific locations as to where these weapons are being stored. Given this state of events; Lt. I am entering this one into the Summer Mapping Initiative as I am pretty happy with it overall.<br /><br />Old Faithful 1.0<br />by Lobster<br />This is the second map in a series that began with 'Sphere of Roundness' last week. Version 2.0 of that map is also included in this release, they also transition into each other to make a loop.<br />The map also follows the loose premise of "What if aperture had tested faith plates in the 1950s?" the default faith plate model stands out a little in the underground, so I went for an alternate appearance, see what you think!<br /><br />Synchronicity<br />by Omnicoder<br />A medium length and difficulty map using much of Portal 2's new features.<br />This is the map the one-room Iterator beta was from.
