The new instance for Dragon’s Call was released today, and even though the press release refers to “normal players” being less than thrilled about it, I think it was a good response to a demand from the community.

The instance is supposed to be a pretty dismal place, with the embodiments of fallen heroes acting as your enemies, and the former leader of the Glancer Knighthood reanimated as a branch boss.

Once you hit max level on any game, you can only hope that the developers will continue to patch in new upgrades and content to keep the game interesting for those that have been there, done that. Yes, this can be frustrating to anyone who just finished their set of gear last week and now have to farm for new items, but overall this is a necessary component of games.

 My advice for any players who might have a gripe about the update: try to think of it as something else to do. Once you’ve been the max level on a game for a few months and nothing new seems to be on the horizon, a game can start to get pretty boring and players are more likely to consider supplementing their gameplay with a new game, or quit altogether. So, try and enjoy the expansion, even if you can’t participate yet.
