A minor characters in "A Stroke of Fate" and they are not as important to the storyline as the protagonist and the main cast, but they create the atmosphere of the game, they live in the ingame locations, they have emotions and feelings, and they live their own lives, often independent of the protagonist's actions. Play "A Stroke of Fate" and see what could the lives of common folk in the wartime look like.

The first hero of today's story is Shoss, airfield technician at the Eagle's Nest castle. He doesn't approve the Nazi's doctrine, moreover – he sympathizes with the Communists and he even has a copy of Marx's "Manifest" at his place, perfectly aware that he would have to answer to the Secret State Police for keeping forbidden literature. He used to have a son, but he was killed in action, fighting for Nazi's ideals? Who can tell what thoughts are now in his mind? Shoss is now disappointed not only in the national idea, but in the life itself. Where will it lead him?
